Where are tracks stored?

Post by Bear »

My Zumo 350 has CN2024.1 split between internal storage and a 32GB SD card. When I ask BaseCamp to read from the Zumo it gives me the choice of main memory or SD card but, since I fitted the card, no history comes out of it. Where is travel history stored: main memory or SD card and how can I diagnose the absence of it. It is turned on wherever it appears in settings.

History is stored in internal memory, it shows as a track or tracks so ensure you're looking in the right place in BaseCamp

Thanks for the info. Next time I use the 350 I'll see what I get back from it.

Typically, internal storage in the GPX folder.

Tracklog.gpx or CurrentTrackLog.gpx

However, it will not be recorded unless you have specifically asked it to when you first got your Zumo.
I don't know the menu of the 345/350 - but look in Settings, Device, Travel History.

Mine says 'myTrends, Tracks, Where I have been' Whatever yours says, it needs to be ticked.

Today, I discovered something really important. I found another way that doesn't work.
