If it were me I'd revert back to earlier maps and keep my eyes open for a cheap newer unit. I certainly wouldn't be buying a new XT2 but a refurbished 590 or 595 will do fine. Maybe even an XT if it were cheap enough.twowheelstom wrote: ↑12 Dec 2023 22:14 Couple things to say,
I also loved using the Mapsource program on my PC but since using BaseCamp I don't want to return to Mapsource, and my recent 550 NA map update to 2024.20 NA maps showed a problem with the Zumo 550 displaying street names with dots, so now I have 3 choices,
#1 live with the 550 displaying street names with dots.
#2 revert back to an older NA map version for the 550 for street names, or
#3 buy a new Zumo XT2 GPS and cradle for my bike, but I don't travel that much anymore to justify purchasing a new unit.
I'd rather pick either #1 or #2
any suggestions welcome
