XT interference from Triumph Explorer/GPR receiver location
Does anyone know where the actual GPS receiver is on the XT? I have a 1200 explorer and am not alone in having an issue when I turn the bike on. the XT loses all it's satellites, appears to be interference from the TFT screen on the bike. Triumph blame Garmin and Garmin blame Triumph...I applied some faraday tape to the bottom of the XT but it doesn't seem to have made any difference, Somehow I need to shield the rear of the unit but obviously not cover the actual GPS receiver. Pretty rubbish screening on one or other of the units but almost impossible to tell which is at fault
