Even the Montana won't reverse a route correctly around one way roads, divided highways etc

I think that it will do it correctly. It is smart enough to know that when going back you should use the correct roads, not merely reversing the same line backwards.
To provide it, I'll later on upload a route and reverse it.

Good luck. I had a Montana which happily reversed walking routes but not driving ones. It will though depend on the placing of waypoints and shaping points.

Before the reversal. As you can see it goes down the Quaid street which is a one way street

After I reversed the route, it led me down the next to the parallel to Quaid (Smith) street which goes the other way.
I'll ride there maybe tomorrow and see how it'll do on the ground

Looks like it made a loop to ensure it still visited the point in Quaid street, which is what I'd expect and shows the sort of issues you get.

So I navigated this small route to the destination and then reversed it. It took me just the right way on Smith street.
Last pic to first. To be fair, it wanted me to make a right turn on Washington and back to 5 Quaid st, but knowing that it's the "old" route I made right and it continued to navigate. So, if the shaping point, say, on the opposite side of the road, you still can knowingly ignore it and it will continue navigating. Not perfect, yet something we don't have in Zumo.
What I also like about Montana 660 is that if you wanted to save a place to go back to, you just take a picture of something up there, and later just click on it and the nav will take you back there. Yeah, you can save a location in Zumo too, but the pic can remind you of how it looks like too. Not a big deal, just nice feature.

Which is what I mentioned earlier, it had created a loop. With a more complicated route the reversal on a Montana would have the same issues as a Zumo. Had the shaping point been a viapoint you wouldn't have simply been able to avoid it.

Well, the 660 treats the shaping points as via points by announcing them, however without making you going there if you passed it (as if they were shaping points).
BTW, this test route I've made on the unit screen (whis is much simpler to make than on a Zumo cas you just moving a pin to all your via/shaping points without leaving the map screen), but just to satisfy my curiosity I'll create another test route in Basecamp to see how it will behave. I was using Furkot to make custom routes when I used the Montana as a nav.

With that said, I now using Zumo because of its screen and some other functions like bluetooth etc.
As for the reversing a route - too complicated and awkward ways to do it.
