On my iphone, can the Drive app access my phone book from the “Where To” search box?

Hi - should be possible! At least on my Android smartphone it asks for permission to access my contacts, so i think this will also work on ios...

Just tried it for you on my (android) phone - you CAN'T(!) enter the name on the 'Where to' field, this don't work! But what works for me, is the following:
Go to your contacts app and select the chosen contact (address of your contact has to be saved there!) - use 'share contact' (if it ask's 'file' or 'text' choose 'text') and share it with the Garmin Drive app - the app opens and shows a map with your contact and the distance to it - at the bottom is button with 'Go'...

I think, this will work at a similar way on your iphone...
