i didn't even know there was a Zumo user forum :shock: until now, had 660 zumo for years,which i found really great, got myself a new bike so thought i'll treat myself to a new Garmin XT. Its a nice piece of kit, got a couple of questions to ask about transfering route from my mapping program to my gps, so i'll have a gander around the forum and find the correct section to ask.....

Welcome to the forums. If you don't find the answers you are looking for, just ask the question in the XT forum.

Things have changed since the Zumo 660 days. At some point you may find this useful - Section 1, The essentials - will give a quick overview.

Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
