Extra_POI_Editor & Google Maps

For those of us that create POI files, Extra_POI_Editor (EPE) is an essential tool.
Starting yesterday when I first saw this, Google Maps displays "This page can't load Google Maps correctly." in EPE as a gray map with "For development purposes only" across the map. Do you also see this behavior and have any suggestions? I'm not sure how to contact the author, Turboccc anymore. Wikispaces is going away in 7 days, so downloads from there won't be available anymore.
