When I turned on my XT, there was no map on the XT.

Tried reloading the maps in Garmin Express and it started but after a short while I got an error message and
nothing more happened.
When I check in the menu it says that CN Europe NTU North and South is installed.

When I try to plan a trip it seems to work as it should but there is nothing visible on the screen.

Is a master reset necessary (done how?) or does anyone recognize the problem.
Hate to loose all I have on the unit.

Are the 2 maps checked?

Yes, they are,

On my first try to reload the maps I got en error message but the second time it did reload the maps but no difference.

Do you have a backup of previous maps? Replace new files with those in the repository.

Try deleting all maps update files manually and then reinstalling the maps using GarminExpress.

A master reset took care of the problem.
