Blue line always shown on map

Hi,

I've had a good search of the forum but I can't find an answer to this one. I've got a blue line on the map on my XT, it looks like a route I might have taken at some point but I haven't recorded anything, I also had a screen full of green flags which I removed by deleting all the favourites, I was hoping doing that would have removed the line but it hasn't. I've deleted the history and all of the tracks but the line is still there. It's not a major problem just a bit annoying.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks Stu, there was nothing in Collections but there were Tracks, I've deleted them and the line has disappeared. Thanks again.

If it is a light blue line, it might be from the blue paint that your back tyre lays down on the map when you have been riding.

You can stop it from recording this data:

Settings / Device / Travel History (tick or untick).
  • Note that unticking this prevents the recording of track logs and the creation of your riding profiles which may result in less accurate ETA calculations.
You continue to record this data but select on / off to control whether or not it display on the map:
  • Settings / Map & Vehicle / Map Layers / Tick or Untick Travel History.

I also found (on my 595 but for this it seems identical to the XT) to clear the logs & history in the device but still keep recording future travels:

Settings/Device/Clear Travel History/Yes
