I went through the newenglandriders tutorial a couple of times and the more I use Basecamp, the more I am liking it. I'm creating bogus routes now just to become more familiar with the app.

Never thought I would figure this stuff out. Thanks for suggesting the tutorial.

Excellent! I thought it was a great tutorial too. I've picked up a couple of things along the way that make it easier for me, be glad to pass them along as you practice if you'd like. I'm primarily a visual guy- no audio instructions, no bluetooth, no head set- so I can't help there but making routes, transferring w/o changing, etc. maybe I can. Just let us know, we'd love to help!

I was pretty much the same as you Gord, watched tutorials, got frustrated a few times then it just sort of clicked. Now I'm a fan of Basecamp (not an expert) but I've planned and ridden several great routes in Europe this year :)

Over in this thread, if you haven't seen it, some tips & tricks and experiences with BaseCamp & routing are being whipped out now and then
