Can't install Basecamp 4.8.6 on Mac with Catalina

I get a message:

“Install BaseCamp.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

Any workarounds or is a software update required?

I believe you’ll want to use the “Open Anyway” button in Security and Privacy Settings. See https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491
