mp3val found no files needing repair. With card it still takes about 45 sec. Without card it takes about 25 sec.
Wingstyle you are correct on the music! I have 11 GB of music on the micro SD card and when I remove that it boots up and ready under one minute. I had done a factory reset on the unit and thought that took care of the problem. After reading your solution I installed the SD card again and it took the longer time.
With the 595 it takes less than 25 sec to finish with or without the SD card inserted.
