Hi from American Appalachia

Post by Drair »

Hi, newbie here from Southeastern Ohio. I have a Honda Gl1800 motorcycle (2008 ABS HPNA) and just got the Zumo XT to help me negotiate interstate trips here in the USA. It is quite complex for me, and I was a nerd/techie in our high school back in the 1970s! The PDF manual I downloaded is FW for the most part, so here I am!

Hello American Appalachian! Welcome aboard. Down in central NC here.

We get it, starting anew with routing software can be daunting but many of us have found success by going through this program -> https://www.newenglandriders.org/learn-basecamp/. There are also other tips and tricks listed at that site.

One of our esteemed members has a tutorial of his own that goes deeper for those in need. I highly recommend that as well. You'll meet him soon enough.

Thanks for the link. My immediate issues are the device itself, not Basecamp. But nice to have that as a future resource. Thank you.
