Thanks for the help John, lkraus, that has worked fine. I now have two units running the 595 version.

Well done ! It is quite daunting the first time that you do it, isn't it ? Make sure you know which one was the original 590 - in case you ever wish to restore it - because you cannot use this procedure to change an original 595 to a 590.oldwobbler wrote: Sun Dec 08, 2024 9:28 pm Thanks for the help John, lkraus, that has worked fine. Thanks for that. I think that must be a hardware issue. I got a 595 and wondered if it would take the 590 software - it does, but it doesn't work ! When I put it back to a 595 - it was now called Zumo, not Zumo 595. And the screen orientation worked.oldwobbler wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2024 1:42 pm Only just got chance to check this - no, I don't have the option to change the screen orientation.
Also, the converted 590 does not get the "proximity alerts" that I have on the original 595.
Mine have been converted so long I can't recall all the differences, sorry John!Oop North John wrote: Thu Sep 25, 2025 9:01 am I'm looking for a list of the differences between the 590 and 595. The links in this thread to the Dutch forum aren't working for me so any help would be appreciated.
