Spent some time today with Trip Manager and using FrankB's method 5 I successfully loaded all my MRA routes to the XT2. Once you get the hang of it, it so quick and every route worked perfectly on the desktop.
Each route did recalculate due to being planned using a different map than what's on the XT2 (planned using Here on MRA) but the difference was a couple of miles at the most, that's a lot closer than the 3049km route that I was getting when in reality it should be 105km!
It used to bother me that the Zumo needed to calculate the route. The Garmin 590 used to preserve the route from Basecamp without recalculating, but with the XT2, there are so many circumstances where it will recalculate the whole route, it is better that the XT2 calculates it in the first place.
MRA v1.1 doesn’t send the original route anyway - only the route points - but it sends all of the route points, unlike v1,2.
Two more snippets. You may wish to put your gpx files onto an SD card that is not in the Zumo as a backup in case you accidentally delete a route or track. Long shot, but I do like my belt and braces approach.
There is a simple edit to a theme file that you can carry out to make the track wider when it is under the route. My black tracks appear as a black border to the route when they are both following the same road.
I’ll find a link. Here you are….

It looks complex, but that is because I explain it. It’s basically copying a ktmf file, changing three lines slightly and saving it.
Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
