Have you reported it to product support ? These things have a 2 year guarantee. You described it as new just a few days ago.
Find the support phone number for your country. Tell them the problem - they will expect you to do some checks, confirm that you have used a suitable charger for 24 hours, etc. They should email you a return label to print off. Pack it up, take it to one of their pickup points (usually a local shop). The replacement will be with you 2-3 days later.

Hi,

Yes I have sent them an email, just waiting for a reply and even if they decide to replace the XT2 I wouldn't recommend the XT2 just because of the difficulty in replacing the battery.
