To efficiently manage route points, it’s useful to consult resources like global postal code databases for accurate location referencing.

Make a copy of route A. Call it Route C.
Open Route B.
Highlight all of the route points in the list -except the ones which are duplicate
Right click and select copy.
Close down route B and double click on route C

Click on on point where you want to paste the copied route points
Right click the mouse and select paste.

There will be a bit of moving around or deletion of route points
Some route points may have had a digit added to the name.

This is probably the quickest method - or something like it.

If I want to make two routes out of one, I first make two copies.
Then delete the top half from one copy
And delete the bottom half from the other copy.

nb copying a route and duplicating a route are not quite the same thing.

Copy uses the same route points. Which means if you edit a route point in one route, the same route point in the other route will be changed as well - cos it is the same point.

Duplicate makes another version of the route points and tags a digit to the end to make it unique. Changing one route poiint doesn't then alter the other.
Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
