This is a different issue from my initial post. That issue was logging me out within a couple of minutes whereas what happened yesterday was much longer. I have deleted cookies and reloaded the site but my sense is that this won't help with the auto-logout after x minutes. Thoughts @Stu ?
Not sure why your being logged out that quickly!
I would logout clear cookies then close the browser
Once re opening click the "Login" in the top right corner
Tick the remember me box

Be careful with some browsers as they can enter your details then log you in before you have chance to click the remember me box
Some ISP's change IP addresses fairly often and this can have an affect but apart from the above there is no reason why it would do what its doing!
I have also just made some tweaks to the session length and see it that helps too
