wiring harness for my 660

before I hard wire this into my Harley Ultra, I'd like to modify the power harness so I can unplug it to remove the cradle when the gps is not in use. Its not something I'm going to using much especially with all the virus floating around.

So, what's your question? Has anyone done this? Or should it be done?

My thoughts are that you leave the cradle in place. Why do you want to remove it? If you're not using the bike, it's not causing any harm - if you are using the bike, you need it.
