I used to ride a 2010 BMW R1200RT, until she decided to have expensive tastes (€5000 repair costs) so I replaced her.

Earlier this month I picked up a brand new BMW R1250GSA.

So far so good, and she had her first service today!

Sleuth I've considered a 1200 RT, we test drove one and really liked it. One of the things that put me off was stories (like yours) regarding repair costs. Hope you enjoy the GSA.
Not sure whether I'll like the Triumph or not but by the time I get it back from Malaga I should know if it's comfy or not!! 8-)

I won't bore you with the various lumps of scrap I rode as a youth, Alas I didn't take many photos and still don't, but ...
1997 Suzuki GSXR750 SRAD
2005 Honda CB1300
1999 Honda XL1000V
2007 Honda XL1000V-6 until a twerp driving a Land Rover Defender wrecked it and broke my wrist
2013 KTM 1190 Adventure (current)
Toured France on my 2nd Varadero and racked up countless thousands of miles on hired Africa Twins around Crete.
I'm a Blood Biker, these aren't mine but I ride 69 plate BMW 1200 RTP and F800GT.
Saving up for a BMW S1000XR
