I am a new owner, user of the XT3 - it replaces the BMW Connected Ride Navigator that was on my ‘24 BMW R1300 GS. I’m using a Teqmount adaptor to use the XT3 on the BMW..
I frequented these forums a few years ago when I had a Garmin 396 on a FJR1300…I’m using MyRoute-App for route creation now.

Good luck with the XT3. It took me a few weeks to decide on how to use it.

It is written for the XT2, but many things still apply to the XT3.
If you also decide to not let the Tread App sync, but instead transfer using a USB cable. Have a look at TripManager.

I have not decided on buying BMW Connected Ride Navigator or Garmin Zumo XT3 yet.
Could you please tell me what were the reasons that lead you to this change?
I'm not an offroad biker, I'm thinking of using the GPS in city and highways mainly.
