problems when trying to load basecamp routes on to new Zumo XT

Hi Guys
previously I had a Zumo 340lm & a Zumo 390LM - long story short - had issues with both - so bought a new XT today.

I had previously planned all my routes in basecamp - for a trip Im doing next week. Trips were created using map city navigator NTU 2027.1 - which also appears to be installed on the new xt

After I had sent the route to the XT - while reviewing them - I noticed that they were mostly straight line - direct routes, when transferring I also got the message " routes sent to xt were recalculated as map they were created on is not installed on the device"?

when I view the routes on basecamp using the map installed on the XT - it is lacking detail - with many of the actual roads not even shown.
My maps on the xt shows cn europe NTU 2027 south + cn europe NTU 2027 north

Any thought on what im doing wrong - much appreciated - as I'm starting to panic!!

Verify the map being used by Basecamp is the NTU map because it sounds like its active map is the Global Map which lack street detail.

For the prompt reply.

Definately says CN Europe NTU 2027.1 when I used the version installed on the Zumo XT photo 1 - but route is straight line with no detail

But when I use version installed on PC photo 2 - it all looks ok?

Try forcing your Zumo to recalculate the route.

Not sure if this your problem, but please check the 'Transfer settings' in Basecamp. All checkboxes should be unticked.

To verify that the loaded maps on the Zumo are OK, you can use Garmin Express and try a reinstall of the maps.

On the unit itself go to Settings> navigation and make sure that your calculation mode is "Faster Time" or "Shorter Distance" and not direct.

i can confirm
1. route is set to faster time
2 Forcing a recalculation on basecamp makes no difference
3 I re-formated the memory card and reinstalled the maps
4 Device transfer have unticked always match route map - unticked

still have the same issues

one thing I have noticed, when I use the map installed on the zumo on basecamp

I can get detailed maps in north Europe but not south Europe?? In the drop down, there are 2 maps installed on the Zumo, I presume one for north one for south? When I select one of the - it comes up with an error - error occured while attempt to use this map?

Going to try Garmin support - although from previous comments - not sure how much help they will be ?

When you say you 'reinstalled' the maps, did you do that from Garmin? or did you just install from Basecamp to Zumo or from Zumo to Basecamp.
Sounds like you have a corrupt map file.

I reinstalled from Garmin express?
does that download a "new " copy from garmin?
