problems with route between 390 & 340

]Hi Guys

I have a Zumo 390lm & a 340lm. I created around 12 routes on basecamp and loaded them on to the 390 - no issues. But when I tried to load them on to the 340 - I got the message - Route recalculation as route created on a map not loaded on to device. Both Zumos - have the same maps loaded.
When you view the map on basecamp using the map loaded on the 340's memory card - the road does not show and if you recalculate - the route turns to straight lines.
I have re installed the maps on to the memory card - but same outcome.

any ideas - what causing this issue?

I don’t know the 390 or 340, but often in the settings app in the maps section there is an option for MyMaps.

Make sure that the map that you want is ticked, and also any maps that cover the same area are unticked. It difficult to know which is which, so one option I to untick all maps except the one you want - just to find out if that is the problem.

Or compare your list of 340 maps with your list on the 390.

The maps that should be ticked are indicated in this photo. The 390 is on the right and the screen is a bit sharper as I had to replace it a couple of years ago. You can see I also have a customised OSM map on the card for the 390 which is unticked. I much prefer these units to my Zumo XT

There may be a problem reading the SD card. If there are cards in both Zumos, swap them and see the result.

Unfortunately, while out for a run today, the "rubber" on off switch on the 390lm detached, and was last seen heading downwind ! So looks like I will need to persevere with the 340 or upgrade to an extra? As heading off to France on Monday !

There are replacement buttons. You remove the old rubber and stick the new one on. Simple.

Thanks, unfortunately as I need it Sunday night,I have opted to buy an XT But may repair the 390 and pass it on
