Map update problems

Map update problems

I'm trying to update the maps on my BMW Nav VI. I opened Garmin Express and connected the GPS to my PC.Everything OK.
Express has been stopped for more than 1 hour
“Phase 1 of 2. Preparing your device for map update
This may take up to 1 minute….”
Is this normal?

No, are you sure nothing is blocking the update? If so I'd disconnect and start again from scratch.
