The option to install maps from the Zumo XT2 to Basecamp has disappeared?

I have updated the XT2 maps from Garmin Express but I can no longer find the option to install the maps on the PC.
Does anyone know how this problem has been solved or can be solved?
For me it is important to have the same maps on both the Zumo XT2 and Basecamp.
I have Garmin Express version 7.24.0.0.0 for what it's worth.

TLDR:

Solution #1 - Go back to GE 7.23.
Solution #2 - Have a previous to the XT2 Garmin GPSR, so you can still do it, using the older tech GPSR.

I always thought that you could use Garmin Express of any version without any gps device connected to computer to install garmin maps on your computer only?

I don't think so. AFAIK, it uses the device as validation for the map, perhaps by checking the license on the device??? GE prompts you to plug in a device whenever you try to access anything related to maps without a device attached.

Hello all XT2 owners
I'm bringing up this thread because today - using Garmin Express (7.23) - I updated my XT2 to the map NTU 2027.10. Imagine my surprise when I couldn't find the option to install the map on my PC (W11). The option is gone. I go into the "Map information" - "Options" menu under CNEuropa 2027.10. The only option I can then choose is "Reinstall map".
I have tried both with and without XT2 connected to the PC. Both with and without BaseCamp on.
Has Garmin managed to add a block for PC transfer to the map file if it is on an XT2?

Hej - I am sorry to disturb you al. I just found the option in the "Map Manage-menu under the tap "Computer". My picture is that I did`nt used that procedure last time when I installed NTU2026.30 but most certain I did. My mistakes. This time I did update GE to 7:28 (from 7.23) to determined it it works in the newest edition. And there it al is. NTU2027.10 in the box (XT2) and the computer. Everything is fine.
