The screenshot itself is from the Tread 2. However, it most likely makes no difference. I had many such disappointing tests with the zumo XT2 until I finally switched to third-party solutions.Regain wrote: Wed Mar 18, 2026 11:07 pm @proofresistant is this on your your Tread satnav or XT2? It’s not a sign I’ve seen on the XT2 yet.
But feel free to try it out for yourself, I’ve provided the GPX file. If you or a zumo XT3 user achieves better results, that knowledge would be very welcome.

Did you ask about the first screenshot? If you'd like, I can provide a sample GPX file for that.Regain wrote: Wed Mar 18, 2026 11:07 pm @proofresistant is this on your your Tread satnav or XT2? It’s not a sign I’ve seen on the XT2 yet.

@proofresistant sorry, I cannot get the motorcycle symbols (allowed or not) to display on the map on my XT2. I recreated a section of your route where they may appear but nothing either in MRA - which does show well detailed traffic occurrences and prohibitions on the phone app, Tread or the XT2. Perhaps it is native to the Tread 2, which I believe is aimed at off-ride riding more than the XT2, or some POI software you have installed?

Who knows, if you can repeat this and we can reproduce it, it might help answer the question of what caused it.Regain wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 9:11 pm Quite often, with Traffic enabled, I will see some 'No Entry' signs that I think are along my route ...
I can certainly understand that.Regain wrote: Thu Mar 19, 2026 3:29 pm @proofresistant sorry, I cannot get the motorcycle symbols (allowed or not) to display on the map on my XT2. I recreated ...
I haven't really noticed it until now, because when, it has happened very rarely.
The example given at the beginning was the first time it really stood out to me, which is why I decided to ask you all about this feature here.
Then, yesterday, I also started trying to recreate something that could be replicated.
Unfortunately, I haven't had much success so far.
I also recreated the exact a new route whitch thame routing, but I didn't, or only one, see the signs anymore.
I’ll keep experimenting, and when I find something that works, I’ll share it here too.
I can’t rule out the possibility that it’s a native feature of the Tread 2, but I don’t think so.Regain wrote: Thu Mar 19, 2026 3:29 pm ... Perhaps it is native to the Tread 2, which I believe is aimed at off-ride riding more than the XT2,
Thes seems Tread 2 isn’t just designed specifically for off-road use, but is also really better suited for off-road use.
The bottom line, based on all my observations, is that Tread the better zumo XT2.
What the Tread mainly misses are the speed cameras and the Senic routes.
If, but not right now, then it’s not a software, rather only some additional POIs.
Anyway, it probably doesn't make much sense to keep looking for more clues based on the ones mentioned signs,
unless someone knows them and knows what they mean.
I myself will try, if I find the time and inclination, to create something reproducible, but I'll keep the effort not so high.
