Hard to tell. I have no knowledge of 'Tyre 2 Navigate".

What caused the problem reported in this thread is that MapSource does not create <trp:ViaPoint> / <trp:ShapingPoint> in the GPX.
So TripManager counted 0 (zero) route segments, leading to invalid RoutePreferences per segment. For my XT I have never noticed that, because that doesn't use route preferences per segment, but for the XT2 and Tread 2 it will cause problems.

Meanwhile I have patched TripManager, you can find the pre-rel in the usual place.

Isn’t Tyre to Navigate an early version of what became MyRouteApp ?

I dismissed both of these products because I regarded them as not being not suitable for use with Zumos - at the time that I looked, but it was so long ago, I cannot remember why.

I’ve just taken another look: click to activate, and then they want credit card details before you get to see what it is.
So I won’t be looking any further !
Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !

As for sending your GPX as trips to the XT2 use method 5 described here:

Let me know how it goes
A big thank you To Frank for holding my hand and guiding me through to getting TM to work for me..Now it's a waiting game for spring to arrive so that I can put the XT2 through a real world test..Cheers from across the pond and salutations from Canada

@Fred D. Thanks for confirming. The fix will be in V1.7.
Wish you a great ride. While you still have time to experiment before you start your trip, I would suggest that you try BaseCamp to plan your trips.

No, not really, and if so, only partially.
First there was the local “Tyre” PC program, which was then somehow taken over and the web-based MyRouteApp application was created.
But then Tyre was also further developed as the “Tyre2Navigate” PC program (privately, I believe).

Everyone plans according to their preferences.
Sure, BC is a powerful tool, but in my opinion, the Tyre program is and always has been much better for simple route planning and, above all, easier to use.

As far as MyRouteApp is concerned, you may well need a credit card; I haven't tried it myself.
I'm not keen on giving out my credit card details either.

But keep in mind that if you're just starting out with route planning, BC is definitely not the best choice.
Other tools are much better suited for beginners, even if you might have a negative experience or two.

Now back to Tyre2Navigate. It's free and you definitely don't need a credit card to download it.
See: https://tyre2navigate.com/ or go directly to https://tyre2navigate.com/download/

PS
Somehow, the Dutch people seem to be one of the best at planning and tools:
Michiel de Ruyter, Abel Tasman, Willem Barents, Willem Janszoon.

Tyre or Tyre2Navigate

Hard to tell. I have no knowledge of 'Tyre 2 Navigate".
OK, I'll test it  and report back ;)

Ha ha. Really appreciate.
The Dutch are also known for "Voor een dubbeltje op de eerste rij willen zitten" that translates to "to want the best seat for pennies".

OK, it looks like routes and GPX files from Tyre2Navigate can also be transferred with TM :)

At least in principle; I have currently tested it with Tread 2.

I noticed that only the option with recalculation actually makes sense.
The other options also work, but the ghost points are lost and are therefore meaningless and require recalculation as well.
In my opinion, it probably also makes sense to have routes from other sources recalculated in the device

Here is an example of what a GPX file looks like when saved from Tyre2Navigate.

Interesting stuff. Will look into it.
Maybe start a new thread for this? No one looking for 'tyre' will find it here.
