Re: XT and BT issues driving me insane!
@Mzokk, I have a Packtalk Bold and an iPhone connected to my XT. I had to turn off voice navigation on the XT when intercom-connected to my pillion or another rider because of how disruptive it was to intercom communication, completely silencing it and then taking a number of seconds to restore it. The verbosity of the XT exacerbated the issue. How is yours in that regard?

Re: XT and BT issues driving me insane!
Being an old Codger 64 and my wife is 60, she now only goes out with me 3 or 4 times a year.........I haven't given her a head set since I removed my old Autocom wired system from my old R1150GS:D I sometimes listen to music with the XT and while it mutes music when you get instructions I haven't noticed it being overly obtrusive. Music seems to work well with Spotify (online) and Musicolet (offline)

Re: XT and BT issues driving me insane!
I'm an older Codger at 70 with my wife at 67. I'm blessed by her still wanting to be a riding companion. We've slowed down a bit so won't be doing any more multi-week cross-country rides but we still try to get away for 3 day rides a couple of times a year along with the occasional "let's go for a ride" rides. I have played with music but I find it distracting. Thankfully, I'm comfortable in my own head so can ride all day without music unless I must spend hours on an interstate highway. I'll need music about two hours in if the traffic is light and the riding is boring.

Good man your self. My wife doesn't like the lack of pillion comfort on my Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports. I might have to go back to a BMW RT to encourage her. Glad to hear you both are enjoying your motorcycling.

no drive app and ditched the garmin explore app. pretty sure tred isn't compatible with the XT1?smfollen wrote: Wed Aug 06, 2025 12:30 pm @baz-R Are you using the Tread app? That can add a load to Bluetooth.
I have my XT2 paired to my Sena 10C only. I also have my Samsung galaxy phone paired to the Sena.
It is very rare that I have issues getting navigation directions with that setup.
I typically do not play music.
I realize that is less than you are trying to do, but perhaps you could narrow down the source of your problem by staring with a simple setup then adding one thing at a time?

yes i get a long pause after directions/alerts its also killing my mp3 off sd card as stated in another threadPeobody wrote: Wed Aug 06, 2025 6:29 pm @Mzokk, I have a Packtalk Bold and an iPhone connected to my XT.
