Memory full Zumo 390

I am back from a 15 day motorcycle trip with 5 friends. I loaded 15 days worth of routes into Trip Planner no problem Midway through the trip we had to alter a route during a ride due to weather conditions. My 390 gave me a Memory Full error message and Cannot Calculate route.
After deleting some route and saved places I was able to get it to calculate again. Does anyone know what items actually consume memiry. Is it just routes or also Saved Places and or tracks. Anything else?

I'd be very surprised if routes, tracks etc have filled your Zumo. How much free space is showing when you check having connected it to your PC or mac? What can happen is that the inaccessible memory isn't able to cope when trying to calculate a specific route, due to its length, complexity or a combination of both.

Thanks for the reply! PC File Explorer shows 6.08 gb used, 1.05 gb free.

Then the message woukd have been as I suggested, and nothing you can do about it except in future if you get it simplify the route or split it into 2 or more parts.
