Waypoint Names changing??

I am using My Route App to plan routes.
I change some waypoint names to cafe, petrol etc etc.
I save as a 1.1 .gpx file and send it to Garmin Drive which then sends it to the Zumo.
Waypoints are in the right place, but sometimes names change to "Area" or just the co-ordinates.

Any idea why?? Is this a Garmin thing or My Route App??

This is a 'Garmin thing', more specifically an XT, and also XT2 thing.

But there are thechniques to overcome that. Probably the easiest is to use TripManager, if you're using Windows.

If you want to prevent renaming use the Transfer to Device method 4 or 5 as described in https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Frank ... Device.pdf

Note: TripManager has been tested with MRA Export GPX 1.1

The XT changes the name to "Area" if the pin is not on a road recognised by Here maps.
