Maps not updating on a 595

Well you can if it's not a Travel Edition although only the original map would be updateable, two of those maps would have been added later.

Latest GE update installed and the 595 is now having the CN EU update installed.

I have just experienced corrupted map file installs on both my 595 and XT. Express keeps failing the update around 64.8% and the device is kicked off my laptop somehow as it goes back to the usual screen, not the connected to a computer one. Trying mapinstall as I write, which I still have

Correct but you can only have 2 of the 5 (I think) installed at one time. To install another you have to delete one.

How do you get two regions at once installed, as I'll be travelling down through Europe for a couple of weeks in Morocco, so would prefer to have the mapping installed prior to the trip?

Express 7.27.0 doesn't seem to have the any two from the list, and neither did 7.26.

Yes. Garmin Express will allow me to install the Europe or Africa maps (not tried the others) but I'm struggling to see the option of having both. Is there a CTRL + xx option that would allow two mapping sets to be selected?

Don't seem to be able to download it to the computer either, which I was wondering about adding the second set of mapping to a virtual drive.

All is not lost as I have a 590 to use for the Europe bit, and the 595 could have the Africa maps on it.

I'll try to find the detail but from what I remember the Travel Edition allows for one map, that must always remain on the device, plus one other which can be varied.

The 595 does not allow the download of any maps to the computer when my 590 does.

Been trying download / upload to see if there was any mapping across the Straits of Gibraltar, and the only sort was for the Spanish enclaves. I am fairly certain that there is only one set of CN maps on the 595 at any time as the used space was about 4gb for the Africa option and about 10gb for Europe.

Maybe I need to roll back to an older version of Garmin Express?

Yes, Travel Edition never allowed maps to be downloaded to PC. Unfortunately as Garmin pulled the Travel Editions a while ago none of my old links are working so I can't help further.
