Lay out

Post by Stu »

does anyone think we need all these extra category's pointed out in red?

I could do away with them and just have one category named Garmin zumo and then just have a section for each different one then have a separate category for the BMW navigators and have a section for the relevant ones

Thoughts?

I think it would be cleaner

Hi Stu - thanks for setting up this site. Have you considered having a general Zumo section to post to, on top of the individual models? Many topics will be general to all models, and it would save potentially trawling through the sections trying to find answers; also posters with general questions wouldn't need to consider which specific model section to post in

If I need to click through every forum to find new messages, that would not be an improvement.

You could cut back on how many sub-forums there are:
Z59x
Z39x
Z66x
Z350/345
Z550/450
Z220

Hmmm

So we have a debate

I must admit that I have been thinking there is a lot of sections and grouping them together would help!

Isn't that the purpose of the quick links for "new posts" and/or "unread posts" so you don't have to click through all of the sub-forums.
