How can you tell if the unit is charging ? On the bike .....it shows a green battery but no indication of it being charged as I ride 8 ?....hope this is not a daft question !

I would start with a low battery, then remove it from the bike after a decent ride, and check the battery indicator again. this should tell the tale.

on the 590 you can press and hold the battery icon and after about 5 seconds it brings up a page with loads of info on it

You can see if this screen if it is charging or on battery power

Try in on yours and see if it works

Hi Stu ,thanks for your thought of checking the battery icon ,unfortunatley it dosnt work on the 340 and on we go
