Deleting old maps

One for the experts please.
I still use Mapsource and have done for many years and over that time I have maps in the drop down dating back to 2018. The question is:- Can I delete the older map versions without affecting the function of the latest map version?
I want to do this because my laptop is running out of memory space and each map version seems to be over 5GB. Getting rid of the older versions would free up over 50GB.

Deleting a map doesn't affect others. To make it easy use GMTK, see https://www.javawa.nl/gmtk_en.html

Maps are installed - so use Control Panel to remove them. Easy.

Unfortunately not all maps appear in Control Panel. GMTK will deal with both.
