zumo 396 Noise when bluetoothing

Hi Everyone,
Hope I can describe this right. When I use the Bluetooth setting to my stereo I get a background occasional crackling sound. If I go directly from my phone to the bluetooth, the music is crystal clear? I have turned on and off to reset the bluetooth several times and cannot seem to eliminate this.

Just so everyone knows: Going from my phone to Zumo unit then to bluetooth fob by mpow. Creates static crackling. Going directly from unit memory card to bluetooth, crackling or static. Going from phone direct to bluetooth works clear.

Now this static is not super loud, does not distort music, just occasionally hear it.

Any ideas?
