Import routes etc into Google Earth

Post by CollingsBob »

Google Earth Pro is now free... I couldn't get it to “see” the GPS, but I did manage to get it to import a route & waypoints..

I use BaseCamp so any data can be viewed directly from there in GE, provided you stick with version 4.6.2 (Windows version).

I've been using Google Earth Pro as a stand-alone for quite some time now without paying for anything. All the downloading/converting/reconverting seems a rather lengthy process to me just to have a route I can make in Base Camp.

I wanted a way of sharing a route in Scotland with my sister in Connecticut - she doesn't have the U.K maps installed on her Garmin
