A Basecamp update (4.7.0) has been released. However, the link to Google Earth has be removed so if you use that feature you may want to skip this update.

The change history:
Changes made from version 4.6.2 to 4.7.0:
Updated BaseCamp to conform to GDPR requirements
Improved MTP device support
Removed online components of Garmin Adventures
Removed Garmin Cloud Drive support
Removed Garmin Connect find and upload
Removed Picassa photo sharing

Me too. This update isn't really an update anyway, just a withdrawal of certain features.

Damn I updated before I read this! I also use the Google Earth link all the time, I know its possible to export the route to Google Earth but that is quite a convoluted process - does anyone have a link to version 4.6.2?

I've just had a notification offering the update but declined it based on the views of the more knowledgeable members. Just out of interest, where does anyone link Basecamp to Google Earth?

You have to have Google Earth 32 bit version installed. Within BC click on the View pulldown menu, then Google Earth, and select from three choices of what to view.

I've got this installed :- Google Earth Pro 7.3.1.4507 (64-bit) and Basecamp tells me that Earth is not running (even 'though it is)
Is this because it's 64-bit?
