Garmin went back to USB Mini because it is a more robust connector than either the USB micro or USB C.

It does not have the TPMS function. Nor does it have a wired audio out or the Virb action cam remote controls.

Yes it's compatible with BC. In addition though it's also compatible with Garmin Explore which allows transfer of routes, waypoints, tracks etc from the cloud via phones, tablets and such.

I don't think there is any particular right or wrong way. I personally use the transfer function within BC as it involves fewer steps than exporting and copying. If you bought a the map from Garmin on an sd card it is locked to that card and cannot be moved to another card. Was it on an sd card or a micro sd card with an adapter?
