Re: How to transfer waypoints to SD card on XT

Yup! Just do everything from within Basecamp. In fact, there may not be any reason to use the card at all except for music. I emphatically disagree with this! I use the SD card EXCLUSIVELY for routes. I NEVER transfer to the internal memory. ---------------------------------------------------------...

Re: How to transfer waypoints to SD card on XT

I have never "created any directory structure myself". I do not export the route "out of Base Camp". Using Base Camp, I simply drag and drop the route (including waypoints) to the SD card. To me it's more important to have good organization with Base Camp's Lists and List Folders...

Re: XT coming next week

The sling is just an oddly shaped rubber band. You clip the XT into the cradle and then stretch the corners of the sling over the corners of the XT. To remove the XT you slip the corners of the sling off the corners of the XT and then release the XT from the cradle. The sling remains in place betwe...

Re: XT coming next week

Let's get real for a moment- who in his right mind is going to leave his zumo in the bike mount for a few weeks and drain the battery? And let's see a show of hands- who doesn't use a battery tender device when the bike sits for a few weeks, hoping it might start next time? All the "could happe...

Re: XT coming next week

My XT has never come loose despite numerous dirt road attempts to make it do so. Also, once I found I could I have since exclusively used the XT in the portrait position. That puts the release button on the side.

Re: Rank amature

It wasn't very clear but the song files MUST be in mp3 format. Looking at File Explorer on my PC, what I have is zumo XT/Memory Card. I created a Folder on the card called Mp3 . Others say MP3 but I have Mp3 and it works fine. I have 2102 files (songs) in 241 folders. XT SD Card 1.png I then created...

Re: CN NA 2024.20

I suggest you wait a couple days. I often see updates listed here but the download fails at home. A couple/three days later it goes on with no trouble.

Re: Latest XT2/Tread software version

Fellow XT2ers, against my better judgement I bought a “Garmin dual port USB power adapter for $24.95 CAD plus shipping. I had tried every USB charger in the house including one listed at 2.4 amps, and all of those showed to be “not charging” and as soon as I plugged into the over priced Garmin char...
