Re: PROBLEMS WITH CALCULATION OF THE FUEL

Fuel reminder works great on my Z665. 200 mile tank, 50 mile low fuel warning. Why would the GPS need the tank capacity? It's not like it's monitoring fuel consumption. I like having that warning, as when I'm iding and listening to music, I sometimes forget to look at the fuel. An extra warning sure...

Re: First question

Sounds to me like Tyre is poisoning the routes, possibly bad waypoints or a feeble attempt by tyre to specify route tracking that doesn't work with MS/BC.

Once you have your plan in Tyre, start with a clean slate in MapSource or BaseCamp and build the routes from scratch.

Re: Real cures for erratic behavior Zumo 660

I stopped running my 660 in 'Motorcycle' mode years ago, it caused more headaches with it's weird diversions than I can remember. I find that hard to believe. I've always left my Z665 in default motorcycle mode. I also always use fastest time, not shortest route, both in MapSource and in the Zumo. ...

Re: 595 Bluetooth Audio Problem

Delete/remove all BT pairings. Pair only the 595. It ay have to pair both the A2DP and HFP modes separately, depending on the BT dongle. Test with a BT headset if you have one. Try a factory reset on the BT dongle before pairing to the 595 to see if it can pair both modes. HFP is used for mono BT Na...

Re: 595 route display order

Rename each route in BaseCamp. I always use: yymmddww:destination from start so they are all alpha sorted. 180821Tu:There from Here 180822We:Back from Forth Also, does BaseCamp still append to existing TEMP.gpx rather than replace the file? Try deleting TEMP.gpx from your device [but not on a MAC as...

Re: 660 losing track logs

You could try a Master Reset. Be aware of what data will not be kept before doing this. Garmin website can be searched for Master Reset.

Re: Crash while routing

I prefer trip planning in MapSource for my Z665. If I get a crash which seems to exist in a few places around the US, I'll build that one in BaseCamp and export back into MapSource. Right click, route properties, rename it to "whatever you name things BC " and as long as you don't display ...

Re: Colorado

My riding group looped through CO last year, riding 21 passes over 10K. It was a super ride. If interested, Mountain Passes in CO.Make sure to include a ride to Mt. Evans.

Why not zip the file and post it?
