Are you viewing your XT maps in BaseCamp and only seeing the one there? This is because BaseCamp can only view one map at a time.

The solution is to install the Western Europe map to your computer for BaseCamp to use. Unlike on your XT it is only one map so you will be able to use the whole map.

Afraid if you use different maps that is pretty much bound to happen. You'd possibly have been better sending waypoints only to your device and calculating routes as you went. This is one of the reasons why using BaseCamp is a good idea, as it can read the maps on your device so you would have been ...

You'll be lucky if they did. Too many variables. Even though you think they are the same they won't be. For a start you have different models, probably using different routing algorithms.
