Re: Battery failure on newish uno XT

Hi and welcome.

If you're trying to charge your XT then it needs to be a 2amps charger, otherwise you're wasting your time.

Re: Upload looks wrong??

No, but you can force a recalc now by changing properties when you view the route on your device from fastest to shortest and vice versa. If you still get straight lines something is wrong, but without more detail it's currently difficult to say. I think if you change the vehicle type ie car to mot...

Re: Newbie Hello - Zumo Charging Issue.

Hi and welcome.

How old is the XT charging lead?

You can see what the battery etc is doing by pressing on the battery symbol for a few seconds.

Re: Irritating permissions screen

Does anyone have this answer to this 3 years old question, as I'm an almost a happy owner of a 396, apart from the permissions screen irritation?

Re: Using earbuds with XT

Along with navigation alerts I'm pretty sure you can have icon / letter pressing as a selectable "alert", which will also mess up the music etc. That and camera alerts / corners / wildlife alerts you'd probably hear no music.

Re: How to tell if ZumoXT is fully charged

I have a new Zumo XT with SW ver. 6.50. I have it charging off a wall plug and these are the numbers I am getting. The Batt Current is peaking at ~ 38mA. Does this seem right? I am concerned as it appears to be losing charge sitting on the desk. I am pretty sure it was turned off, but I will check ...

Re: Weird Routing Behaviour (2)

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned before but has anyone else noted that if the end and via points are already in the XT, and you get the XT to calculate it, then if you don't follow it it won't do the U-Turn madness, but behaves as you'd hope / expect? The same route imported from Basecamp = U--Tu...

Re: Can't find a British female voice file for my Garmin Zumo XT

My XT contains two female British voices, British English-Kate and British English-Serena. I believe they came on the device because I don't recall adding them and because there is a total of 17 voice language options in a variety of languages. BTW, Serena has a lovely voice. I don't have any advic...
