How old is the XT charging lead?

You can see what the battery etc is doing by pressing on the battery symbol for a few seconds.

Does anyone have this answer to this 3 years old question, as I'm an almost a happy owner of a 396, apart from the permissions screen irritation?

Along with navigation alerts I'm pretty sure you can have icon / letter pressing as a selectable "alert", which will also mess up the music etc. That and camera alerts / corners / wildlife alerts you'd probably hear no music.
