Re: Will XT ignore a planned waypoint stop if you continue riding?
Let's say that I'm on a route on my XT and I'm riding along and I intentionally on purpose bypass a planned route point (waypoint) without stopping there, will the XT force me to do a u-turn and go back? what if I don't wish to go back and want to continue on? Short answer- yes. You must pass over ...

Re: Music stops and getting unwanted U turns ZUMO XT
Thanks everyone! You've confirmed my suspicions. Now to execute.....Let's see if I have this right....Run a route through a second program... tilt my head to the left while gritting my teeth, making sure my back is to the sun....and push the the button's in the correct sequence....and pray for the ...

Re: Does the Zumo XT track miles?
I'm interested in buying a zumo xt for my Honda XR650L adventure/single track bike. I ride probably 80 street 20 off road. I bought a set of black KKE wheels and now I lost my mechanical speedometer. I have been running a trail tech vapor for a few months but it might be a defective unit because it...

Re: Bleeping nav 5
Hi guys I have gone into settings and switched off any alerts etc and will see if that makes a difference. Bleeping occurred whether or not a phone was linked. I'll report back (once it stops raining!) Thanks Peobody found and led me to the place for turning off school zone alerts. They still beepe...

Re: Music PLayer
I'm not going to worry about it too much as the music sounds a little better when going from phone to headset directly as opposed to being funneled through the XT2. Besides, I just put on a playlist and can control it from my headset directly better if I do at all. I tried last year with my XT, pho...

Re: CN NA 2025.10
Good point @rbentnail. It's sometimes difficult to get the right balance between Making a simple straight forward statement - which is accurate, to the point and is not cluttered with additional 'how-to' information Making a lengthy post which gives all of the necessary detail. This method runs the...

Re: CN NA 2025.10
Start GE with "Run as administrator" before trying to install maps to PC even if you are logged in as a user with admin privileges. Took me a long, long time to figure out how to do this. The whole time I was wishing you had given instructions on how to do it. There are many of us out her...

Re: Music stops and getting unwanted U turns ZUMO XT
Another way to view what you are describing: the XT is following the route precisely as designed. It's just that the points it is going to aren't placed perfectly on the road where you want to be. On the XT, I'd go to GPS Simulator (Settings/Navigation) and start the route. Then I'd zoom all the way...

I use a backpack with laptop, gps, mp3, and more (including chargers) every time I fly. Not once has the issue of having a gps come up. I don't think I was ever ask to take it out.

Re: Mount with USB?
From what I've read, the XT and XT2 power corded mounts, the ones you describe with only 2 leads, have their own embedded 12 volt to 5 volt converter so plugging that into a usb port isn't going to work. The XT has a usb port on it, I use it all the time to plug into my laptop and into a usb charger...
