Re: Zumo battery

Welcome to the forum Robert from a fellow 660 user.
I guess you've cleaned the battery and unit contacts.
Did the unit start at all with the old battery installed?
Have you tried mounting the unit in the bike cradle?

Re: hi from Zurich, Switzerland

Hi Williams, welcome to the Zumo forum. Quite a list of "Old school bikes" on your intro :) My eye fell on the Norton 850 Commando. That was my 1st real tourer--I had a MK1 Roadster before buying a lovely MK3 Interstate. The first real tour was from England to Switzerland and Northern Ital...

Re: Garmin withdraw map updates for older devices

The 660LM is not mentioned, would that be covered by the 665LM GPS Navigator?

Re: End of life, no more map updates for 660/665?

Hi @hammer I have a 660. Just loaded Express and it showed 2024.10 available for update. I got the usual choice of where to update the maps so I chose just the computer and set it going. Checked on Basecamp and that Mapset is already installed.

Re: Ferries: Does anyone have any experience?

rbentnail You certainly wouldn't want to cross the Bay of Biscay without your bike securely strapped down!! I've seen photos of dozens of bikes on their sides after a particularly rough crossing, we've always been fortunate weather wise when crossing the Bay :) UK to Spain is a 22-36hr crossing dep...

Re: Ferries: Does anyone have any experience?

My upcoming trip includes three ferries. I have never taken a motorcycle on a ferry so would appreciate advice on what to expect and how best to secure the bike (2008 Goldwing). For anyone in the U.S., these ferries are on the southeastern coast: Southport to Fort Fisher, Cedar Island to Ocracoke, ...

Re: myAudi app

It may be worth asking the same question on an Audi specific forum eg:- https://www.q3ownersclub.co.uk/
I'm sure there'll be a forum for your Audi model.
I used my Z660 for route planning when I had my Q3.

ULEZ Extortion Zones

It may be a silly question but do the latest ULEZ tax Extortion Zones feature on any up-to-date mapping?
