Sorry to be a little off topic. But the explorer app on my phone says the XT is not compatible… Am I doing something wrong?

I understand. I didn’t want to either, but seemed to be the only fix, for me at least.

Are the cradles wired to switched power or constant power?

I had the same issue when my cradle was wired to switched power. Changed it to constant/battery power and no problems since.

I’ve been using the USB port to power my XT in my truck. I haven’t had any problems. So far at least……

Glad you got it figured out.

To speed up my updates, I have out the SD card in the card reader of the computer instead of leaving it in the 550. As long as the 550 is also connected by USB it will install to the SD card in the reader.

I have a 4gb SD card that I load maps onto. When I tried to update to NA2022.2 yesterday, it said I didn't have enough room for the entire map. So I left of most of Mexico.
