Does anyone know if there's a cover for the bike mount that's like the 590 one that I can buy. I know there's the rubber cover for the power studs, but I like the way the 590 one clips on and off.

So today in the Basecamp to XT route I added a waypoint after the last one, so instead of start - point A - end it became start - point A - point B - end, and very early went off route and it seemed to be happy as it only did a couple of u-turns before working out a sensible route. I have a 590, 396 and XT and the XT is the most unreliable to connect to Garmin Express and Basecamp. The 396 using the same lead, about 99.9% success rate. The XT recently went through a phase of not even being seen by the laptop, and then this week in first try.

Despite pairing my Garmin Zumo XT, as GPS, my iPhone 13 as phone and ensuring multi-tasking is enabled the 10U always cuts out music, intercom etc for sat nav directions - it stops it for about 2-3 secs before I hear any instructions and the same happens before the music or whatever comes back in. ...

Are there any issues or weird behaviour with the Zumo XT that I should be concerned with? If you use it as an A to B device, or only plan routes on it then the XT then you'll enjoy it. If you plan routes with via / shaping points in Basecamp and then go off route you may well be tempted to throw it...

Has there been any update from Garmin on this problem?

Not used my 396 much but I'd say its a hybrid 590 / XT. Has some of the app features of the XT, but with a screen similar to the 590. 396 and 590 use Smartlink for traffic etc whereas XT uses Explore which some love, and others hate. It's certainly nearer in weight to the XT compared to the 590. 396...
