I have too many routes in Base Camp to even consider recalculating them with every map update. I've never had a problem using any if them. Same thing on the devices themselves. AFAIK no routes have ever been affected.

It automatically show this from the phone whenever music is enabled in the bluetooth connection to the phone. If you want to disable it, on the XT go to Settings > Wireless Networks > Tap the phone item > untick the Media Audio option. I have zero music on my phone. I do have music on the XT SD car...

Excellent! I too updated GE and maps on the XT & PC. Mine went without a hitch!

Despite all the advice here, I have had exactly zero luck doing anything with a track and have yet to get any helpful advice on how to make them useful to me ant any way. I say- stick with what you know. I make routes and follow them now with little to no difficulty whatsoever.

screenshots problem solved - had to use Chrome instead of Firefox Oh, I see now. My suggestion: NEVER place points in an intersection or (in your picture) a highway interchange. The 595 model would sometimes mess up and do something stupid like that and the XT for some reason seems much worse at it...

Ditto. I was curious so I updated via wifi with Bluetooth on and connected to my phone with Garmin Drive app active. No problem with the update at all.
