Do you ever apply a very fine wipe of silicone grease/lube to the contacts?

@kernowing, what do you use the extra cable for? I installed an accessory socket (cigarette lighter style) in mine (with USB plug) but that was plug-n-play (plug already available in bikes wiring up front). I use a USB plug in it. I regret not installing a 2-port USB socket instead, but this works ...

Welcome to the forum BenjaminBob from another Winger. Good advice from Peabody-- also, pull in a spare cable to the left pocket when you run the power supply for the Zumo.

Welcome to the forum @Toniu Even at 65 it's never too late to learn :)
I only visited Barcelona once in 2019, it's somewhere that I must pay a return visit. Just home yesterday from a fly/drive holiday, Jerez, Seville and Cordoba, Barca is still my favourite city.

Are there any issues or weird behaviour with the Zumo XT that I should be concerned with? If you use it as an A to B device, or only plan routes on it then the XT then you'll enjoy it. If you plan routes with via / shaping points in Basecamp and then go off route you may well be tempted to throw it...
