Re: City Navigator North America NT 2020.2 concerns
Yes the same map on both on the Mac & the zumo; in the first case (roadtrip) it was a planned route transferred from Basecamp. In the second it was an address entered into the zumo directly.
I'll try a master reset and see if that resolves the issue..

City Navigator North America NT 2020.2 concerns
I’ve noticed a minor annoyance with the most recent update of City navigator NT on my Zumo 660. On a recent road trip it would declare I was off route before my turning point, and on a city address it overshot by 72 metres. While most of the time it’s a minor issue I’ve had the GPS wrong turn me on ...

Re: Can I use Google Maps to create a route?
The drawack to this solution (in the video) is that he uses Google’s ‘my maps’ which I find more complex than using Google maps; ‘Maps’ suggests alternate routes and allows you drag way points which are features I didn’t find in ‘my maps’.

Re: Zumo 595 lost the maps whilst on holiday
I keep an 'Open Street Maps' map as a backup (on a SD card) for my zumo 660. http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ Open Street Maps doesn't have the features of the garmin maps (speed limits, 3d buildings, lane assist) but the maps and points of interest are good (at least in my experience). Another optio...

Re: Can I use Google Maps to create a route?
There's a Maps to GPX website that seems to work; https://mapstogpx.com/ Rather than 'opening in basecamp' I had better luck saving the file in GPX format and opening that in basecamp. Another way is described here; https://www.bedsforcyclists.co.uk/articles/2014/04/13/how-to-plan-a-route-in-google-...

Re: Problems routing with Garmin North America 2019.20 maps?
Thanks for the advice! I did the master reset and tried my first route again. Watching closely, the Zumo indicated stay left to avoid a double lane offramp, and immediately after keep right at the highway split. So, although confusing, more or less the correct directions.

Re: Problems routing with Garmin North America 2019.20 maps?
It was using the CN North America NT 2019.20 maps. I had downloaded them just before my trip. In the first case I used the Zumo's find recent to calculate the 244 kilometer route, in the second I used the POI to find the closest fast food place for lunch (about 20 kilometers). So it wasn't an issue ...

Problems routing with Garmin North America 2019.20 maps?
I did a 4 day road trip last week using my Zumo 660 with the current Garmin map. I noticed a couple times it routed me incorrectly, then told me I was off route. First time it routed me on the wrong highway at a split (both map and voice wrong), in the second instance it showed the correct route on ...

Re: Current versions.
I agree that Garmin Express says 2019.11 is available, and other users have reported downloading 2019.11, however what downloaded to my Zumo 660 is listed as 2019.10 on the unit, so that's what I used.
