Re: Installing OpenTopoMaps on Mac
Afraid you can't AFAIK. What you can do is copy them from your device to a removeable drive, either virtual or physical, and use that instead of your device. See here for more info https://www.javawa.nl/virtualdevice.html The issue may be your Mac version as JaVaWa Utilities haven't been updated rec...

See https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp ... 26DB7.html
Note your device must be connected or you need to copy the poi files to a removeable drive and use that instead.

Re: CN NA 2024.20
That's fine too, just that the latest Garmin devices shouldn't use it to update the Garmin CN maps or you lose junction view and some other functionality as Express installs more than just the map during a so called 'map' update

@twowheelstom
You can check this yourself. The junction view file is a separate file named *.jcv and will be in the JCV folder on your device. The * will match the name of the map file on your device and the dates/times will also match. It isn't sent if you use MapInstall.

Re: CN NA 2024.20
I know exactly what it's for but it's an old program that should really only be used on older devices. Express installs more than just the map on more modern devices, if you use MapInstall instead then you will lose things like Junction View.

Re: CN NA 2024.20
No, as far as I'm aware if there is space the full map is installed but that really shouldn't be an issue. If you really want a smaller section you could try adding additional files to fill up the memory so Express is forced to offer a smaller region, but note it will only be from a select few, you ...
